FRTP was used extensively in townhouses in the 1970's-1990's as part of the roof deck. This material was soon found to have serious degradation issues in normal attic temperatures. This involves stripping the entire roof, removal and replacement of the FRTP with new fire retardant materials and re-roofing. Commonly the owner is assessed for part of the cost.
